After you’ve contact us to check availability, we will need a copy of your full UK driving licence, and copies of two utility bills (which match the address on your driving licence) from within the last 3 months as proof of your address.

You can send these documents to us by email to [email protected] or WhatApp.

You also need to create a licence ‘check code’ on gov.uk to share your driving licence information with us.

We ask for full payment at the time of booking, plus a £500 refundable deposit upon safe, damage-free return of the horsebox.

The horsebox will be provided fully-fuelled and needs to be returned the same.

For full day hire you can collect the night before (time of collection is subject to availability) and return the day of hire.  For a morning half day hire you can collect the night before and it must be returned by midday. Half day afternoon hire can be collected from midday and returned the same evening.


For a full day hire, the lorry must be returned by 7pm.  A late penalty charge of £40 will be charged per hour after this time and a full day charged if the lorry is returned after 9pm. Any delays in returning the horsebox must be communicated with us.

Our box has a maximum payload of ***. This must not be exceeded by the  total weight of driver, passemgers, horse and tack.

Payment can be made by BACS or credit/debit card. The refundable deposit of £500 will be held as an authorisation charge from your credit card.

The minimum age to hire is 23 years old, and you must have held your full UK driving licence for at least 3 years.

Cancellations must be made in writing via email to [email protected].

If notice is received more than 7 days before the hire date, then a full refund is provided.

For cancellations between 7 days and 24 hours of hire, a charge of £50 will be retained.

For cancellations within 24 hours of hire, 25% of the hire charge will be refunded.

The vehicle will be provided to you in a clean, hygienic condition ready for you to use and must be returned back to us the same.

Shavings must be used at all times for cleanliness and hygiene purposes. The vehicle must be returned to us clean and swept out; there will be a cleaning charge of £50 if the horsebox is not cleaned out to our satisfaction.

There is an allowance of 250 miles in any 24 hour period.  Any additional miles above this allowance will be charged at 50p per mile.

All damage, no matter how big or small, must be reported to us immediately along with photos. This can be provided via email or WhatsApp.

All repairs must be carried out by us. We are a fully-qualified, fully-insured and registered coachbuilder and supplier.
